Healthy Lombard Will Participate in District 87’s GPS Series 

On April 10, 2013, preceding  a special GPS (Glenbard Parent Series) presentation entitled, ” Navigating Healthy Parenting” that will focus on how to combat the growing obesity epidemic and action items parents can take to make the health choice the easy choice, Healthy Lombard will participate in Glenbard’s Second Annual Wellness Expo.

Visitors to the Healthy Lombard booth will have the opportunity to “hunt” for the “Key To Good Health”  and have an opportunity to share, on camera,  a Healthy Hint.  The “hints” will be used on Healthy Lombard’s new cable show, “Health Local.”  

The expo will be held from  6:30 – 7:00 pm in the Glenbard North High School Auditorium, 990 Kuhn Rd, Carol Stream, IL.  In addition to Healthy Lombard, the expo will showcase over 25 other community health organizations.  They will share information, demonstrations, and free giveaways! Healthy refreshments included.

The evening is sponsored by Glenbard District 87 Schools and FORWARD (Fighting Obesity Reaching healthy Weight Among Residents of DuPage)  This Expo and presentation promises to provide vital information and suggestions to help us win the battle of the bulge.
