A certified instructor from Yoga & Ayurveda Center in downtown Lombard will join us for these active story times! We’ll share stories and practice simple yoga poses. We’ll explore the senses while developing cooperation, balance and coordination. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat.

5K Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer

The NOCC Illinois Chapter’s 19th Annual 5KRun/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer® will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 8:30am to 12noon, at Arlington Park International in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This event is A FLAT APPLE EVENT AND the largest awareness event and fundraiser for the NOCC as well as the largest ovarian cancer event in the Midwest. Proceeds go to support Earlier Awareness of ovarian cancer, support women and their families affected by the disease, and fund research for an eventual cure. Registered STUDENT participants EARN A FLAT APPLE RAFFLE TICKET FOR PARTICIPATION AND also receive FREE General Admission to Arlington Park racing following our event.
JUNE 18, 2016 – Family Fun and Fitness Fest at West Suburban Wellness: 9 AM – 12 Noon
1127 S Main St Lombard) Showcasing fitness vendors with activities, new patient appointments for only $11 (proceeds go to Lombard-Villa Park Food Pantry), healthy snacks, free massages, balloon twisting, and face painting! In addition, kids get an apple ticket from Healthy Lombard’s Flat Apple Program for participating in the ring toss and posture screening and an extra ticket for bringing people!

The Kiwanis Club of Lombard is sponsoring kid-friendly, fun, healthy activities. All participants will earn Healthy Lombard Raffle Tickets for participation.

The Lombard Lilac Post 5815 will sponsor games and military exercises for kids of all ages.
