The Lombard Police Department, in conjunction with other community groups will be hosting the fourth annual National Night Out on Aug. 5, 2014 at the Lombard Commons Park.

The event takes place between 5-8 pm.

The event is a nation-wide attempt to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood unity.

Healthy Lombard will be conducting its final hot spot at the event.  The hot spot event will be an obstacle course that will have short sprint, hula-hoop, jump rope and jumping jacks in a timed format.
