On April 6, Healthy Lombard offered a FREE event during the Lombard Park District’s Time for Tots for the 3rd time in a row. The activity, known as “Go Fly A Kite,” provided a free kite kit and volunteers to help toddlers decorate and assemble their personalized creations.
Armed with kite flying instructions and a Health-Aide kit, provided my MedExpress, participants were encouraged to go and fly their kites in the grassy area of Sunset Knolls, the location for Time for Tots. Several did with the help of their parents and siblings and easily it can be said a great time was had by all.
Healthy Lombard would like to thank the volunteers who assisted with project namely, students from the Islamic Foundation School, National University of Health Sciences, and Healthy Lombard Board Members. Because of their efforts, almost 100 kids had a healthy and fun-filled experience.
